Our Concept

Inspired by the theme of duality, we drievred our rendition of the Madonna/Whore complex. The inspiration for the veil and its halo comes from a nun's cap representing the Madonna, the innocent, pure and modest expectation of women. The mirrored bodice represents the Whore, using inspiration of burlesque and womens sexualty. The gold cage is the exaggeration of the womanly form as well as the entrapment of womanhood within these two labels.
